I saw some painted floor tile online selling for approx. 19 to 28$ a piece...so I thought I'd try some myself. I white-washed them with some watered-down Behr paint, used 2 shades of gray for the stencil, then hit all the edges with a belt sander to cause an uneven bevel, which I painted a terracotta color. An Exhibition of Our Family's Creative Interests
This blog is designed to display a wide range of projects, some of which (quite possibly) have an interesting story or two! Major 'players' include Bailey and Nate, as the Molokai Kids, and the rest of our family and some friends...and whomever else has a bit of cleverness in their system! No special time frame here....we've all used our hands and brains for years. Mostly.
Naturally, there will be fish stories...
Apparently Daffers won't stay off the furniture. Bad Dog!
Franken-Fish
In the spirit of Halloween, we are all looking forward to "Frankenfish", the Molokai kids' attempt at ocean taxidermy.
Pull that puppy out of the closet!
